Lexi is such a hardworking student that she had to be our new Spotlight Student. She has been a student at ArtFit for almost 2 years. She began silks when she saw a video on YouTube and thought, ”it was really cool”. That inspiration led her grandmother to find ArtFit and the silks class.
Lexi told us that she has gained strength and confidence through her silks journey and has set a goal, “ I hope to learn how to climb high on the silk, let go, and flip all the way down“. We know that she will absolutely attain her goals. Cristine, her instructor says, “She’s very determined and never backs down from a challenge”. This shows in every class through the progress that she has made over the years.
Lexi made sure to tell us how Cristine has helped her begin achieving her goals, “My teacher, Christine, has helped me understand how to do different moves and positions. She’s been really good at adapting moves so they work better for me”.
When we talked to her, Lexi said she was proud of attaining the straddle, cocoon and scorpion. We know that she has attained much more since then and look forward to seeing what she accomplishes in the future.
